Operations Manager Curacao

About the organization

Our client is an international franchise organization operating well known Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands across multiple markets. With a strong presence in Curaçao and a track record of consistent growth, the organization is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead restaurant performance across its locations on the island.

About the role

As Operations Manager, you take full ownership of the daily operations of the organization's QSR restaurants in Curaçao. You lead with a clear focus on brand standards, food safety, customer experience and profitability, and you build the teams and processes that make consistent excellence possible. You report directly to the Country General Manager / Franchise Director and act as the operational backbone of the local organization.

This is a hands on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast paced, multi unit restaurant environment and who combines financial acumen with genuine people leadership.

What you will do

Operations

•       Ensure all restaurants comply with brand and operating procedures across dine in, takeaway, drive thru and delivery.

•       Safeguard operational excellence in food preparation, product quality, speed of service and cleanliness.

•       Conduct regular operational audits and implement corrective action plans where needed.

•       Ensure restaurants meet operational KPIs and brand compliance targets.

•       Monitor labor productivity, scheduling and staffing efficiency.

Financial performance

•       Drive sales growth and profitability across all assigned locations.

•       Control food cost, labor cost and operational expenses within approved budgets.

•       Analyze P&L statements, sales reports and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

•       Initiate local store marketing to increase traffic and revenue.

Team leadership

•       Recruit, train, coach and develop restaurant management teams.

•       Build a high performance culture based on accountability, teamwork and service.

•       Conduct performance evaluations and manage succession planning.

•       Drive employee engagement and retention.

Customer experience & compliance

•       Guarantee consistently strong customer service and handle escalated concerns effectively.

•       Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation and health regulations.

•       Maintain brand image and operational consistency across all restaurants.

•       Support the rollout of digital ordering and delivery platforms.

What you bring

•       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field, preferred.

•       3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably within QSR.

•       Multi unit management experience is a strong advantage.

•       Solid understanding of restaurant financial management and operational control.

•       Experience within a franchise or corporate restaurant system is a plus.

•       Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills, with a hands on, structured way of working.

•       Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and willingness to travel between locations.
